Women Helping Women Heal Month
We Are Our Sisters’ Keepers
Women Helping Women Heal is a month long celebration that takes place every April. It was founded by Now With Nicole’s, Nicole Huffman Hollins, in February 2015. The purpose of this special time is to focus on helping women heal in the following areas: faith, family, finances, and freedom from past sexual abuse.
April 1-8 is set aside for spiritual healing no matter what your beliefs. This is a time to re-connect with your value systems and align your life with what matters most to you. It is also the time to renew the faith you have in yourself to make healthy life choices. If you have never had this type of faith, there is no time like now to gain it.
April 9-15 is dedicated to helping women heal relationships with their mothers, aunts, daughters, sisters, female cousins, and sister-friends.
April 16-22 is the time we will use getting our finances in order. During this week, we will focus on providing information and services from female professionals including, but not limited to
- financial planners
- frugal moms
- champion couponers
- insurance agents
- tax professionals
- investment advisors
- private bankers
- lending professionals
- credit worthiness advisors
4.) Freedom from Sexual Abuse
April 23-30 will be a time where we focus upon helping women heal from the present pain that is caused by the past hurt of sexual abuse. This is a time and honor and support those who are woking to educate us during April’s Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
